Based on the actual G7000 Inboard and Outboard aileron, a dummy structure has been developed to be used in the full scale functionality test in palce of the actual one.
The dummy components had to have adequate strength, equivalent design and had to provide a representative load transfer to the components that they were replacing.
Functionality test of the ailerons is performed to measure the friction acting against the rotation of the control surface, induced by the maximum deflection of the parent structure at Limit Load Level.
